This is me in Rome, year 2000. Tomorrow I’m returning to the Eternal City, 35% older than I was last time. The Colosseum is 0.5% older. What that means, I can’t say. But I think I might be able to figure it out over a bowl of spaghetti carbonara.
I’ll also try to figure out why on my last trip to Rome I looked like a street urchin with a stolen camera.
I am away this week but not absent…two posts coming up, a beloved kitchen item and my favorite pancake recipe. Plus I’ll be taking pictures all week of yummy discoveries to share when I get back.
